Tagging Questions

Organize questions with tags for easy filtering and categorization.

Why Tag

Tags help: - Categorize questions by topic - Filter in search - Track trending topics - Organize presentation mode

Tag a Question

  1. Click question
  2. Click "Tag" button
  3. Select existing tags or create new
  4. Save

Create new tag: Type name and press Enter.

Bulk Tagging

  1. Moderation Queue → Select questions
  2. Click "Tag"
  3. Select tags
  4. Apply to all

Tag Strategy

Common tags: - Benefits - Career - Culture - Policy - Product - Technology

Event tags: - All Hands Q4 2025 - Town Hall January

Use existing tags when possible to maintain consistency.

Remove Tags

  1. Click question
  2. Click tag's "x" icon
  3. Confirm

Tag Colors

Admins assign colors to tags for visual distinction.

Tips

  1. Tag before answering - Organize first
  2. Use existing tags - Maintain consistency
  3. Avoid duplicates - Check for similar tags
  4. Be specific - "Benefits" not "Misc"
  5. Coordinate - Align with other moderators on tag usage
